Empowering Women through Agriculture: 5 Bursaries for Our Basic Farming Course!

Calling all aspiring female farmers! Adult Education Institute is dedicated to fostering diversity in agriculture. We're offering 5 full bursaries to deserving women for our Basic Farming Course. This course is your stepping stone to a fulfilling career in agriculture. Learn essential skills like soil management, planting techniques, animal husbandry, and farm management.

We believe women are key players in driving sustainable agricultural practices. 

This bursary program aims to remove financial barriers and empower women to become future leaders in the agricultural sector.

Basic Criteria

  • Gender: Female

  • Residency: Resident of South Africa (Rural areas will take priority)

  • Age: 21 - 50

  • Academic: Ability to read and write

  • Motivation and Passion for Agriculture: Write a motivational letter about your interest in farming and how this course aligns with your goals.

Additional Considerations:

Previously Disadvantaged Background: Preference can be given to women from historically disadvantaged backgrounds to promote equity.

Rural Residency: Prioritizing women residing in rural areas to support local agricultural development.
